Week 4 brings us a match on Apr 30th where Stabæk will travel to Molde to battle Molde in a clash of the Eliteserien. Molde is fresh off their 1-2 loss against Lillestrøm. Kristoffer Tønnessen struck first for Lillestrøm in the 5th minute, then in the 35th minute, Martin Linnes sent in a beautiful pass which was converted by Emil Breivik. They’re hoping to improve on their recent performance, having lost 2 of their last 10, while stabæk sits at 10th place in the tables. In their last match they recorded a 3-0 shutout win against Haugesund. Curtis Edwards scored the first goal for Stabæk in the 20th minute, then Kasper Hogh added another in the 64th minute on a feed from Mushaga Bakenga At the end of 90 a dissapointed Haugesund couldn’t manage to score, and Stabæk took the shutout win. Stabæk is looking for direction having earned 11 points in their last 10 matches.
These two teams have not yet played each other this season.
Kevin Kabran and Kasper Pedersen are the top scorers for Stabæk in the last 5 matches, but unfortunately they only have one goal. It’s hard to imagine having success with those stats. Molde is lucky enough to have a few offensive weapons, with Kristian Eriksen and Magnus Eikrem each having 2 goals in their last 5.
