In a mid week match on Wed Sep 14th, in week 19, Racing Club hosts Patronato at Estadio Presidente Juan Domingo Perón in a meeting of these two Superliga teams. Weather on match day is looking like a cloudy and cool day, with daytime temperatures of only 14 degrees, which should make for a nice day for football. In their last match, 8th placed Racing Club, recorded a 0-1 loss against Estudiantes. Mauro Boselli scored the first goal for Estudiantes in the 30th minute, and that single goal was all that was necessary as neither team could manage any more scoring In the end, Racing Club was frustrated by Estudiantes’s defence and couldn’t put any tallies on the board. Estudiantes ended the match with the shutout victory. Racing Club is looking for direction having 3 win and 2 losses in their last 10 matches, while in their last match, Patronato recorded a 1-0 shutout win against Platense. Carlos Quintana struck first for Patronato in the 67th minute, and that single goal was all that was necessary as neither team could manage any more scoring In the end, Platense couldn’t muster any offence and Patronato ran away with the shutout win. Patronato is looking for direction having earned 16 points in their last 10 matches.

On the 20th of April, Patronato hosted Racing Club in their last match together. Racing Club took the match by a score of 3 to 2. Javier Correa struck first for Racing Club in the 8th minute, but Federico Castro got the equalizer for Patronato in the 13th minute , but luckily for Racing Club it didn’t end there. They were able to keep scoring to earn the win.

Estigarribia and Federico Castro are the top scorers for Patronato in the last five matches, but unfortunately they only have one goal. It’s hard to imagine having success with those stats. Racing Club hasn’t been successful in netting any goals lately. Their top scorers in the last 5 matches are Tomás Chancalay and Matias Nicolas Rojas Romero, and they each have 1 goal.
