Week 24 features a match on Sun Feb 19th, where Monaco and Brest will play a match in Brest in a clash of these two extremely mismatched Ligue 1 teams. In their last match, Brest recorded a 0-3 loss against Montpellier. Christophe Herelle scored the first goal for Montpellier on an own goal in the 4th minute, then Teji Savanier added another in the 17th minute on a penalty shot In the end, Brest was frustrated by Montpellier’s defence and couldn’t put any tallies on the board. Montpellier ended the match with the shutout victory. Brest looks to improve on their recent performance, having lost 4 of their last 10, while monaco is fresh off their 3-1 win against Paris Saint Germain. Aleksandr Golovin struck first for Monaco in the 4th minute on a feed from Wissam Ben Yedder, then Wissam Ben Yedder added another in the 18th minute on a feed from Krépin Diatta. Monaco is on a hot streak lately, with 7 wins in their last 10 matches.

In their last match together, in Stade Louis Ii., Monaco won by a score of 1 to 0 in front of just over six thousand jubilant fans. Aleksandr Golovin struck first for Monaco in the 54th minute on a feed from Mohamed Camara, and that single goal was all that was necessary as neither team could manage any more scoring In the end, Brest couldn’t muster any offence and Monaco ran away with the shutout win.

Monaco is glad to have Wissam Ben Yedder in top form. In the last 5 matches the attacker has scored six goals. Jérémy Le Douaron has been the most effective weapon for Brest lately. The French defender has netted two goals in his last five matches
