Hapoel Be’er Sheva vs Maccabi Bnei Raina Match Preview

Week 24 features a match on Monday Feb 27th, where Hapoel Be’er Sheva plays host to Maccabi Bnei Raina in a clash of the Ligat ha’Al. Weather on match day is looking like a cloudy and cool day, with daytime temperatures of only 18 degrees, which is great football weather. Hapoel Be’er Sheva sits at 3rd place in the tables. In their last match they recorded a 0-1 loss against Maccabi Tel Aviv. Geraldes struck first for Maccabi Tel Aviv in the 17th minute on a feed from P. Guiagon, and that was all the excitement the two teams could muster In the end, Hapoel Be’er Sheva couldn’t muster any offence and Maccabi Tel Aviv ran away with the shutout win. With 20 points in their last 10 matches Hapoel Be’er Sheva should be reasonably happy with their performance, while 13th placed Maccabi Bnei Raina is fresh off their 1-2 loss against Maccabi Netanya. Lukas Spendlhofer scored the first goal for Maccabi Bnei Raina in the 23rd minute, then Patrick Twumasi tied it up for Maccabi Netanya in the 50th minute But fortunately they were able to complete the comaback victory in the 63rd minute on a goal by Stanislav Bilenky. They’re hoping to improve on their recent performance, having earned only 5 points in their last 10 matches.

In their last match together, Hapoel Be’er Sheva took the match by a score of 3 to 0. Ramzi Safuri scored the first goal for Hapoel Be’er Sheva in the 32nd minute, then Ramzi Safuri added another in the 47th minute on a feed from Shapi Suleymanov At the end of 90 a dissapointed Maccabi Bnei Raina couldn’t manage to score, and Hapoel Be’er Sheva took the shutout win.

Maccabi Bnei Raina is having problems scoring lately. Their top scorers, Mark Koszta and Ahmad Abedzadeh each only have 1 goal in their last 5. Eugene Ansah and Rotem Hatuel are the top scorers for Hapoel Be’er Sheva in the last five matches, but unfortunately they only have one goal. It’s hard to imagine having success with those stats.
