Jeonbuk Motors vs Gwangju Match Preview


In this week 3 match on the 12th of March, Jeonbuk Motors hosts Gwangju at Jeonju World Cup Stadium in a K-League 1 match. In their last match, Jeonbuk Motors recorded a 1-1 draw against Suwon Bluewings. Cho Kyu-Sung struck first for Jeonbuk Motors in the 10th minute on a penalty shot, then Boadu Maxwell Acosty tied it up for Suwon Bluewings in the 60th minute on a feed from Lee Jong-Sung earning them at least the one point. Jeonbuk Motors looks to improve on their recent performance, having earned only 9 points in their last 10 matches, while in their last match, 5th placed Gwangju, recorded a 0-2 loss against Seoul. Osmar Ibanez Barba struck first for Seoul in the 59th minute, then Park Dong-Jin added another in the 1st minute of the second half’s stoppage time on a feed from Lee Si-Young In the end, Gwangju couldn’t muster any offence and Seoul ran away with the shutout win. Gwangju is looking for direction having earned 11 points in their last 10 matches.

These two teams have not yet played each other this season, so it will be interesting how the match turns out.

Reis and Lee are the top scorers for Gwangju in the last 5 matches, but unfortunately they only have one goal.. Song Min-Kyu has been the most prolific scorer on Jeonbuk Motors in his last 5 matches with two goals.
