Al Ittihad vs Al Khaleej Match Preview

Week 4 brings us a match on Sep 15th, where Al Ittihad hosts Al Khaleej at King Abdullah Sports City in a clash of these two extremely mismatched Pro League teams. The game day is forecasted to be a cloudy but hot day with daytime temperatures of 31 degrees, which may be tiring for the players. In their last match, 3rd placed Al Ittihad, recorded a 1-0 shutout win against Al Raed. Ahmed Hegazy struck first for Al Ittihad in the 66th minute, and that single goal was all that was necessary as neither team could manage any more scoring In the end, Al Raed was frustrated by Al Ittihad’s defence and couldn’t put any tallies on the board. Al Ittihad ended the match with the shutout victory. Al Ittihad is looking for direction having 2 win and 0 losses in their last 10 matches, while al Khaleej is fresh off their 0-0 scoreless draw against Al Adalh. Neither Al Khaleej nor Al Adalh could manage to put one past the goalie. They had 7 and 6 shots on net respectively, but no one could score, and the match ended in a 0 – 0 draw,. They’re hoping to improve on their recent performance, having lost 2 of their last 10.

These two teams have not yet played each other this season, so it will be interesting how the match turns out. Al Ittihad’s most prolific scorer has been Romario Ricardo da Silva. The Brazilian midfielder has netted two goals over the last five matches.
